To me, it seems like Iona College accepts most if not all of the students that apply. Iona just wants too meet numbers.

I would recommend that parents read the August, 2015 edition of Money magazine, and compile a list of questions if they visit Iona's campus. Ask the President, his Administrators, and Board Members, if available, to answer the questions on graduation rates. Ask why students leave with high debt. Ask why very very few Fortune 500 companies attend Iona's career fairs? Ask why Iona pays their professors very low salaries in technical teaching areas? Ask why the top brass get paid higher salaries than the professors who are teaching the students. Also ask how much the Basketball Coach gets paid compared to Professors, and Adjunct Professors, and maybe that is why Iona only has a 63 percent graduation rate.

Iona College is easy to get into it, andMay 15 2015Undecided
Iona College is easy to get into it, and I personally don't think it is worth the money. I know incoming Freshman and many students care about campus food and campus life, and I did to, but at the end of the day, after you spend all your money or your parents very hard earn money, you need a job, a job that you will grow in your chosen career field and enjoy. You need internships, to explore your career field, and job shadowing and mentoring opportunities. You don't want to end up paying back big loans, have no job, or have to take a job you don't like, because you didn't get effective career/job planning advice.
Iona College is totally lacking in the Career Development area, and nothing has changed since the new President started. The food is good, but I can go out and eat anytime - at a diner, pizza restaurant, Dunkin Donuts... I'm investing in my career, future, and my life, not Frozen Fraps and lattes. Do in-depth and comprehensive studying before you consider Iona College.

It is not difficult to get into IonaMay 01 2015Undecided
It is not difficult to get into Iona. They have a very high acceptance rate, because Iona cares about numbers and money, not quality. Iona cares about quantity not quality.
